Countdown to New Year 2010 - Waiting For New Year!

You all must be aware of the story of Cinderella, the beautiful princess who turned into her old self as the clock struck 12 at midnight. This transition happens with us every year only it takes the form of a New Year at the stroke of 12'O clock at midnight on 31st December. Everywhere you will find people eagerly awaiting the New Year Countdown to begin which marks the official arrival of the New Year. As soon as the clock starts moving towards 12 in midnight, cries of 10, 9, 8,...2, 1 "Bang" starts ringing throughout the area and the final cry of Happy New Year marks the beginning of a fresh year with literally bang and joy!
New Year Eve's Party makes special arrangements for this very moment and often plan a big, lavish bang or bursting of fireworks or confetti at the end of the night long programs organized in honour of New Year. Although the countdown for the New Year begins as soon as Christmas is over, but most people find it more exhilarating when they go into the final moments of the oncoming New Year.

There are some very famous places to be at the New Year Countdown time. As a matter of fact, Times Square in New York is the first example that comes to anyone's mind upon hearing the word New Year Party Countdown. Apparently a huge glittering ball drops right at the very second both clock hands reaches 12 at midnight and the whole world jumps about screaming Happy New Year to each other. Similar is the way at Trafalgar Square in London where the famous Big Ben's New Year Countdown takes place.

This time when the whole world starts counting, make sure you are at one of the desired places welcoming New Year by taking part in the famous New Year Countdown!
